Starting of Durga Puja preparation with Khuti Pujo 2019
The Khuti Pujo in Sep 2019 started off with gaiety and fervor
for celebrating the 35 th Durga Puja by the Alaknanda Puja Samiti from 4 th Oct
Shasthi to 8 th Oct 2019 Dashami. The function was inaugurated in the presence
of President Shri P K Bhandari and General Secretary Shri Swapan Basu and other

33rd Durga Puja celebration of Alaknanda Puja Samiti in Sep 2017
Alaknanda Puja Samiti celebrated the 33 rd Durga Puja from
26 Sep to 30 Sep 2017. Members and General Public have shown enthusiasm during
the Puja celebration by flocking in thousands. The Puja was inaugurated formally
by Swamijis of Bharat Seva Sangh Sevasram. It witnessed symbolic wielding of weapons
offered to Maa Durga by various Gods heralding triumph of good over evil. Some
